A wonderfully odd and interesting carved shell lamp. It's very well carved and so it's most likely an antique from the 19th century (later lamps tend to have less refined carving). It shows a lady and a faun or devil figure - probably this depicts "temptation".
It comes with a nice painted metal stand.
